William T. McDonnell "Bill", of Dearborn Heights, a beloved brother, uncle, and friend, passed away at his home unexpectedly on March 16, just one day after his 74th birthday.
Born on March 15, 1952, Bill was one of 13 children in a close-knit Irish Catholic family. A graduate of St. Mary's of Redford High School, he was known as a quiet, kind and generous man who always made time for his loved ones.

He was a man of steady kindness, often extending a helping hand to those in need.
Bill leaves behind a loving family of siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends who will remember him always as a good man – gentle, generous and true.
Surviving Bill are siblings, Carol (Laurie) Dooge, Thomas (the late Fran) McDonnell, Richard McDonnell, Maureen Eden, and Patrick McDonnell; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
