Obituary

William "Bill" Kendall passed peacefully in his sleep and went home to be with the Lord, March 30, 2024 at age 76.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 22 years, Lynda Brumley Kendall. Also surviving are sisters Jean (Jim) Dome, Janet (Jim) Lowdermilk, sister-in-law Janie (George) Kendall, 5 stepchildren Tony (Sarah) Morabito, Tina Morabito Schiff, Rick (Julie) Morabito, Lisa (Bob) Hansen and Chad Downer, 10 step grand children and numerous nieces and nephews and many loving friends.  He was preceded in death by wife Andrea Morabito Kendall, father George Harvey Knipple,  mother Eula Mae Knipple, sisters Mary Hart, Kimberly Sivertson and brother George Kendall.

Originally from the Detroit area, Bill lived in Northern California for 22 years and moved to the Ozarks in 2020.  Bill graduated with a Bachelors Degree in business from Ferris State University about 1970. He worked in and was instrumental in the success of the family chemical business as a child until about 50 years of age. As an entrepreneur he owned and operated a commercial water filtration company in Detroit and later a detailing and restoration company for boats and recreational vehicles in Sacramento CA.  He was known for being a reliable man who always got the job done and he received many awards for his achievements throughout his lifetime.  Bill loved the adventures he and Lynda had traveling to Mexico, Belize, and the Caribbean and in their motor home across the U S or walking and riding electric bikes on the beach and going out to dinner with dear friends and family.  They both felt their trip of a lifetime was when they visited The Holy Land in Israel together.

Bill attended Fair Oaks Presbyterian Church in CA for 18 years and then The Tabernacle, a Messianic  congregation, in Branson MO where he lived from 2020 until 2024.  Bill played a significant role in the founding of Messiah's Heart, a fellowship and service ministry at The Tabernacle.  An extremely generous, compassionate and selfless man, Bill was always the first to help financially or lend a hand to anyone in need.

A gravesite ceremony will be held Saturday, April 27, 1pm, Glen Eden Cemetery in Livonia MI with a Celebration of Life to follow at a location announced by the family at the cemetery.  A Memorial will also be held later at The Tabernacle of Branson MO.
