Wanda, age 96, of Farmington Hills, passed away Friday, May 19, 2023, at her residence.

Wanda was born October 23, 1926, in Detroit, the daughter of Antoni and Mary Pych.

Wanda married Harry Matykowski on February 8, 1946, and he preceded her in death on September 22, 1993.

Wanda is survived by her daughter, Susan Matykowski; son, Kenneth (Maryann) Matykowski; granddaughters, Meridith (Richard) Lorde-Cole and Kimberly (Richard) Borland; great-granddaughter, Maren Cole; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Wanda was preceded in death by her sister, Jane.

The Matykowski family will receive guests on Monday, May 22nd, from 2-6 pm, with a 5 pm Vigil Service, at the funeral home.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 23rd, at 11:30 am (in state 11 am) at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 23615 Power Road, Farmington.

Interment will follow at St. Hedwig Cemetery in Dearborn Heights.
