Virginia Ann Lauinger, age 82, of Farmington, a devoted patriot, staunch conservative, and devout Catholic, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 29, 2024.
Virginia was born September 11, 1942, in Pontiac, the daughter of John and Mary (Schau) Lauinger. Virginia exemplified the values of love for country, faith, and friendship throughout her remarkable life. Her unwavering patriotism and commitment to placing America first were evident in every aspect of her being. Whether through her active involvement in community service or her unwavering support for causes she believed in, Virginia was a true embodiment of the American spirit.
Her faith was the cornerstone of her life. A devout Catholic, she found solace and strength in her beliefs, shaping her actions and interactions with others.
As a staunch conservative, Virginia held firm to her principles and values, always advocating for what she believed was right and just. Yet, despite any differences in opinion, she had a remarkable gift for building bridges and forging connections. To Virginia, everyone she encountered was a potential friend, and her genuine warmth and kindness endeared her to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
In her 82 years, Virginia touched countless lives with her unwavering spirit, generous heart, and boundless love. Though she may have left this world, her legacy of patriotism, faith, and friendship will continue to inspire and uplift those who were fortunate enough to have shared in her journey.
Virginia is survived by her children, Dennis (Joanne) Carroll, Diana Pesendorfer and Dean Carroll; grandchildren, Mary Ellis, Michael (Megan) Pesendorfer, II, Joseph J. Carroll and Katherine Rose Carroll; brothers, Joseph (Ina) Louinger and Andrew (Diane) Louinger; and nieces and nephews. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, William Klasener and sister, Clara Nyzowyj.
Virginia's family will receive guests on Monday, June 3, 3 pm until the funeral service at 7 pm, at the funeral home.
Private interment will take place at Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens in Novi.
Memorial tributes may be directed to the Disabled American Veterans .
