Virginia R. "Jenny" Kelm, age 97, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Serene Gardens of Hartland.

Jenny was born March 7, 1929, in Detroit, the daughter of Louis and Louise (Blevens) DeBusk.  She married William Kelm on May 31, 1947 and enjoyed 73 years of marriage until his passing on December 27, 2019.

Jenny was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She was a member of the Kenwood Church of Christ in Livonia where she taught Sunday School since 1952.   Jenny and Bill enjoyed their winters in Florida but also traveled to many destinations, including their favorite place, Hawaii.

Jenny is the loving mother of Carol (William) Brown and Richard "Rick" (Linda) Kelm; beloved grandmother of Lisa (Robert) Brooks, Richard (Anne) Brown, Steven (Kim) Brown, Erica (Mike) Ertman, Brian (Michelle) Kelm, Susan (David) Karle; cherished great grandmother of Zac, Ryan, Evan, Lindsey, Jessica, Brandon, Andrew, Erin, Grant, Ava and Ella.

Funeral services are planned for Friday, May 15, 11 am (gathering beginning at 10 am) at Kenwood Church of Christ, 20200 Merriman Road, Livonia.

Interment will take place at Glen Eden Memorial Park in Livonia.
