Tom, of the St. Anne's Mead Retirement Community in Southfield, a caring father and grandpa, and proud US Army veteran, passed into eternal life on Monday evening, January 30, 2023.  He was 91 years old.

Tom was born May 29, 1931, in Detroit, to the late Joseph and Marion (Hurley) Conlon.  He married his beloved wife, Frances, on October 25, 1958, in Toronto, Canada.  Sadly, Fran preceded Tom in death on May 19, 2014, after 55 years of marriage.

Surviving are five devoted children, Michael (Eva) Conlon, Thomas (Gina) Conlon, Mary (Richard) Dudas, Anne (Davo Scheich) Conlon, and Trish (Dan) Izzo; twelve cherished grandchildren, Fred Conlon, Dan Conlon, Kelly Conlon, Megan Conlon, Leo Dudas, Luke Dudas, Theodore Dudas, Robert Tourtillott, Hope Tortillott, Frank Izzo, Martin Izzo, and Penelope Izzo.  In addition to his wife, Tom was preceded in death by his siblings, Ellen (the late David) Casey and Daniel (Evelyn) Conlon, as well as a daughter-in-law, Lisa Conlon.

Family and friends may gather for visitation at the Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home, downtown Farmington, on Friday, February 3, from 2-8 pm, with a 7 pm rosary.

Tom's funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday morning, February 4th, at 11:00 am (in state 10:30 am) at St. Fabian Catholic Church, 32200 W. 12 Mile Rd., Farmington Hills.

A procession to Holy Sepulchre Cemetery for concluding prayers and military funeral honors will immediately follow mass.

Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Anne's Mead Assisted Living, Southfield.
