Theresa Louise (Chapman) Haverty passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024, at the age of 93.  She was born June 8, 1931, in Detroit, MI to Roy and Sarah Garrett Chapman.  Theresa married C. Patrick Haverty on October 28, 1950, and was married 56 years until his death in 2006.  Together, Theresa and Pat enjoyed homes in Dearborn, Livonia, Plymouth and Naples, Florida.

Besides her husband, Theresa was preceded in death by her parents, and her sisters, Helen Chapman Rye and Janice Chapman Dettloff.

Theresa is survived by her children, Christine (Robert) Sitkauskas, Michael (Wendy) Haverty, Thomas Haverty, Nancy Haverty, Lori Hunter, Daniel Haverty, Laurie Haverty and her grandchildren Tim (Dr. Jordan Rogers) Sitkauskas, Michael (Sherri) Sitkauskas, Melissa (Dan) Ramirez, Amanda (Jason) Harris, Matthew Haverty, Katherine (Christian) Shanahan, Patrick Haverty, Marcus Haverty, Shannon Haverty and Aidan Haverty and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation is Sunday, November 3, Noon-3pm at Heeney Sundquist in Farmington.  Interment is private.
