Susan M. Viers, age 71, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2024, at the Novi Lakes Health Campus in Novi. She touched the hearts of many with her kindness, gentle spirit, and unwavering love. As we bid farewell, let us celebrate her life and the cherished memories she leaves behind.

Susan was born January 17, 1953, in Detroit, the daughter of Norval and Alice (Bromm) Keefer.

Susan married David Viers on March 17, 1973, and enjoyed over 50 years of marriage.

Susan had an affinity for tulips—their vibrant colors and delicate petals mirrored her own grace. The aroma of freshly baked cookies and cakes wafted through her home, inviting all who crossed her threshold.  Flour, sugar, and butter transformed into love-infused treats that brought joy to her family.

Children gravitated toward her gentle spirit. She listened to their stories, wiped away tears, and celebrated their triumphs. Whether reading bedtime tales or teaching them to tie shoelaces, she bestowed upon them the gift of time and patience. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those she nurtured—the little hands she held, the scraped knees she kissed, and the dreams she encouraged.

Susan embodied compassion, leaving a trail of kindness wherever she walked. She believed in the power of a smile, the magic of a shared secret, and the healing touch of empathy. Her legacy extends beyond her family; it reaches into the community she served, the friendships she cultivated, and the lives she touched.

Susan is survived by her husband, David; daughter, Lyndi Bostic; grandchildren, Josiah Bostic,  Manuel Camacho, Antonella Comacho, and Leandro Camacho; and her brother Jeffrey (Susan) Keefer.

Susan's family will receive guests on Thursday, February 29, starting at 2 pm until the 7 pm funeral service at the funeral home.

A private burial will take place at Christian Memorial Gardens in Rochester Hills.

Memorial tributes are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
