Susan Patricia Johnson, age 70, of Farmington Hills, passed away peacefully July 29, 2023, after bravely battling Alzheimer's disease.

Susan was a shining example of hard work and frugality, always striving to provide for her loved ones and make the most of every opportunity. Her diligence and dedication were evident in all aspects of her life, inspiring those around to do their best.

Her Polish heritage was a source of pride, and she carried the traditions and values of her ancestry with great respect. Susan had a fondness for flowers, finding beauty and peace in their vibrant colors.

Throughout her journey, Susan faced Alzheimer's disease with courage and grace, showing remarkable strength even in the face of challenges. Despite her difficulties, her caring nature never faltered, and she continued to bring joy to those she held dear.

As we bid farewell to this extraordinary soul, we find comfort in the memories she leaves behind. Susan's love, warmth, and unwavering faith will forever be etched in our hearts. May her soul find eternal peace, and may we honor her memory by cherishing the values she held dear.

Susan is survived by her dearest daughter, Megan (Jason) Hickey; beloved grandson, Henry Matthew Hickey; loving brother, Mark Araucz; and dear sister, Cynthia Alaire. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mary Ann Araucz; and brother-in-law, Robert Alaire.

The Johnson family will receive guests at Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home, 23720 Farmington Road, Farmington, MI 48336, Thursday, August 3, 2-8 pm. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, August 4, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 23815 Power Road, Farmington, Michigan at 10 am (in state 9:30 am).
