Obituary

Surrounded by love, Sarah Elizabeth Exposé peacefully passed away on Tuesday, November 14, at age 42 in her hometown of Farmington Hills, Michigan.

Sarah was born on December 13, 1980, in Detroit, Michigan to her proud parents James and Linda Exposé. Sarah was a bright and beautiful child who adored her little sister, Rachel. She was educated in the Farmington Hills School District, graduating from North Farmington High school. Upon graduation, she went on to study medical billing and coding. She ultimately found her passion and crafted a meaningful career in Information Technology.

Sarah was enthusiastic and full of life. She had many hobbies which included: cooking, hosting dinner parties, event planning, and caring for everyone around her. One of the people she cared for deeply was her life partner David Pike. Sarah met David in 2011 and spent every year thereafter in love.

Sarah was preceded in death by grandparents Dwight and Ruthann Landon, and grandfather Bob Copeland. Sarah is survived by parents Linda and James (Lauri Thornhill) Exposé, sister Rachel Exposé (Nicholas Felice), loving partner David Pike, and grandmother Estereen Copeland. Sarah was a loving partner, daughter, sister, and dear friend to many. Sarah's generous spirit and desire to help others continues even in her death, as her final wishes were to heal others through her gift of tissue and organ donation. May Sarah's life and generosity be an ever-mindful example of what genuine kindness can do for the world.

A memorial service celebrating Sarah's life will be Saturday, November 18, 1 pm at the Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home.  Her loving family will receive family and friends beginning at 11 am.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to Forgotten Harvest in Sarah's name.
