Sandy, of Livonia, beloved Mom and Nana, passed into eternal life unexpectedly on Thursday evening, February 23, 2023, at Beaumont Hospital, Farmington Hills.  She was 80 years old.

Sandy was born October 9, 1942, in Detroit, to the late Harold and Edith (Yeo) Jahlas.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, Armando, on September 5, 2018.

Surviving are her two devoted daughters, Lisa (John) Petro and Lana (Jim) Acitelli; and cherished grandsons, Vincent and Dominic Petro.  In addition to her husband, Sandy was preceded in death by siblings, Geraldine Campbell, Leroy Jahlas, and Ronald (Linda) Jahlas.

Family and friends may gather for visitation at the Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home, downtown Farmington, on Thursday, March 2, from 2-7 pm.  A Funeral Ceremony will conclude the visiting hours at 7 pm.

Interment will take place privately in the Glen Eden Mausoleum, Livonia.
