Rosella Giorgetti Moody, age 80, of Farmington Hills, passed away peacefully Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Corewell Health Farmington Hills.

Rosella was born September 16, 1943, in Ponte All'Ania, Italy, in a home occupied by German Soldiers during World War II.  She is the daughter of the late Argene and Eduardo Giorgetti.

Born with a deep love for literature, Rosella was an avid reader who found joy and solace in the pages of her favorite books.

Her greatest pride, however, was her family. Rosella cherished her role as a mother and grandmother, with her grandchildren holding a special place in her heart. She was also immensely proud of her Italian heritage, which was a source of strength and identity throughout her life.

Rosella's warmth and kindness touched everyone around her. Her family loved her dearly and will remember her for the love, wisdom, and joy she brought into their lives.

Rosella is the loving wife of James for 60  years; beloved mother of Audrey Naranjo (Gabriel) and Michael Moody (Laura); cherished grandmother of 3 beautiful grandchildren, Anna McDowell (Jacob), Caleb Moody and Lydia Moody; dearest aunt to many nieces and their families in Italy.

It was Rosella's wish to be cremated.  Her family has decided not to have any services at this time.

In lieu of flowers her family suggests donations to be made in her name to Capuchin Soup Kitchen of Detroit .
