Robert "Bob" Michael McGrail, of Farmington Hills, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, with his loving family by his side. Sadly, he was only 70 years old.

Bob was born in Windsor, Canada, the son of the late William and Marie (Keane) McGrail.

Bob was known for being a good man. He knew God, spoke the truth, worked hard, loved his family and helping others. Being one of ten children, he was willing to open his home when others had a need. He raised his wife's daughter as his own. In addition, he raised two sons, two grandchildren, and gave extra attention and support to a niece and nephew. Bob developed many lasting relationships through the years, including friends from his youth, work colleagues and neighbors. When he wasn't out trying to make the world a better place, he enjoyed golfing, sailing, the casino, and camping. God, family, and friends are what he valued the most. He will be dearly missed by all.

Surviving are his devoted wife, Terry McGrail; three adored children, John McGrail, Matthew (Jean) McGrail and Tammy (Rusty) Millard; five dear grandchildren, Christina (Brian) Morris, Craig Shooltz, Nick Shooltz, Aidan McGrail and Declan McGrail; three beloved great-grandchildren, Liam Morris, Aaryn Morris and Hunter Morris; brothers, Dan (Sandy) McGrail, Tom (Nancy) McGrail, and Jim (Linda) McGrail; sisters, Maureen (Steve) Philippart, Kathy (Mark) Harning, Pat (Gary) Fenn, and Colleen (Tim) Cowher; and sister-in-law, Janet McGrail. Bob was preceded in death by his two brothers, Bill McGrail and Tim McGrail.

Family and friends may gather for visitation at the Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home on Sunday, January 22, from 2- 8 pm. Bob's funeral ceremony is planned for Monday morning, January 23, at 11 am, also at Heeney-Sundquist.

Memorials may be directed to Tunnel to Towers Foundation or Wounded Warriors Project to honor Bob's life.
