Robert, age 90, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2024.

Robert was born October 24, 1933, in Detroit, the son of Arthur Paul and Irene (Haller) Koenig.  He married May Smith and enjoyed 70 years of marriage before her passing On October 11, 2022.  Robert worked as a draftsman for Chrysler before his retirement.

Surviving are his children, Paul (Joann), Mark, David and Jayne Lanigan; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; and brother, Arthur Paul Koenig, Jr.

The Koenig family will receive guests on Tuesday, July 30, beginning at 3 pm until the 7 pm memorial service at the funeral home.
