Robert E. Bloch, "Bob", age 95, of Novi, passed away peacefully Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital in Commerce Twp., MI.

Bob was born in Detroit, MI, September 5, 1930, the son of the late Joseph and Margaret Bloch.

Bob was the former business owner of Peninsular Machinery in Farmington Hills for many years.  He also adds being the former President of the prestigious Huron River Club, located in Farmington, with his many accomplishments.  Bob was longtime member of Our Lady of Sorrow Catholic Church.

Bob is preceded in death by his former wives, Barbara and Kathleen.  He is the loving father of Robert Bloch, Jr. (Patricia), Linda Morelli (Richard) and Carol Kovach (George); beloved grandfather of Nicole, Alex, Joseph, Anthony, Nicholas, Michael, Robert, Reed and Michael and great grandfather of 17; dearest brother of Mary Schmidt and the following deceased, Roland and Raymond.

A funeral Mass celebrating Bob's life will be Saturday, May 16, 10 am, Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 23815 Power Rd, Farmington.  Bob's family will receive friends beginning at 9:30 am.

Bob will be placed in the mausoleum at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield, where he will be reunited with Kathleen.
