Robert John
Adams
Feb 5, 1931 — Dec 28, 2024
Livonia
Robert (Bob) John Adams, passed away peacefully on the afternoon of December 28, 2024, surrounded by family.
Born in 1931, Bob grew up with a passion for precision and flair that carried through every aspect of his life. His unparalleled sense of style was admired by all.
Bob bravely served for the United States Army in the Korean War from 1951-1953.
Bob met his wife Sharron when they lived across the street from one another before eventually getting married in 1993. They wed in a classic Las Vegas ceremony, beginning a beautiful partnership marked by tradition, laughter, and dedication.
Bob retired in the same year, 1993, after a successful career as an auditor for the Liquor Control Commission, where his meticulous nature shone. Even in retirement, his passion for structure and order remained evident in his unwavering care for his family, his home, and, of course, his prized vehicles and collectibles.
Bob is survived by his loving step-children, Lisa Wisdom (Mark Smith), Tim (Kris) Wisdom, and Jim (Kyla) Wisdom; adored grandchildren, Cody (Sarah) Cardoza, Rachel, Hannah, Joshua Wisdom, Megan (Mike) Ryan, and Jacob Wisdom; brother, Thomas Adams; and his goddaughter, Karen Collison, all of whom will miss his impeccable style, sharp wit, and steadfast love.
Bob was preceded in death by his wife Sharron, the love of his life; and siblings, Richard and Lori.
A visitation will take place on Thursday, January 2, with guests invited from 10 am - 12 pm, at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre cemetery in Southfield immediately following visitation.
Please keep Bob and his family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
In lieu of flowers, Donations can be made to the St Jude research hospital or the American cancer society.
