Richard M. Wagner, age 78, passed away on July 2, 2024.

He was born in Detroit, MI, August 2, 1945, the son of the late Thelma and Lawrence Wagner.

Tough, down-to-earth, and sentimental. Richard was the person you'd turn to in times of need. He served his country during the Vietnam War and returned to start a family with the love of his life, Sharon, of 46 years. Under Richard's tough, blue-collar exterior was a tenderhearted man who was proud of his family.

Richard is the beloved father of Kim Cossin (Rob) and Steven (Hannah); cherished papa of Ryan Cossin and Kelly Madden (Kyle); proud great-papa to Hudson.

The Wagner family will receive guests Friday, July 5, 2-8 pm at the funeral home. No funeral services will be held and a private interment will take place at Glen Eden Memorial Park in Livonia.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Richard's name to Angela Hospice , ALS Chapter of Michigan , or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
