Richard A. Norman, age 61, of Hamburg Township, our loving husband, son, friend, and retired police officer, passed away unexpectedly on June 4, 2023.

Rick was born in Detroit, Michigan, August 5, 1961, the son of Roger Norman and the late Carolyn (Oberliesen) Norman.

Rick was known for being a generous and giving man who had a big heart and very gentle soul. His favorite pastimes were hunting and fishing, especially enjoying these activities with his friends and family members.

Rick is survived by his loving wife, Denise Norman; father, Roger Norman; proud brothers-in-law, Anthony (Sharon) Galorneau and Joseph Jentzer; wonderful nephews, Nicholas McMasters, Gordon Galorneau, Jake Galorneau, Joseph Jentzer, Anthony Jentzer, Dominic Jentzer, Alaina Galorneau, and Matthew Galorneau; and dear mother-in-law, Marlene Jentzer.

Rick is preceded in death by mother, Carolyn Norman; and brother-in-law, Louis Galorneau.

A memorial service celebrating Rick's life will be held Saturday, June 17, Hope Church, 22183 Pontiac Trail, South Lyon, MI, 48178.
