Patrick Joseph McKeever, a devoted husband and avid University of Michigan enthusiast, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at the age of 57, surrounded by his loving family after a valiant battle with cancer.

Born on August 30, 1966, in Flint, the son of Donald and Bernadette (Conroy) McKeever.  Pat lived a life defined by his unwavering determination, kindness, and passion. His journey was marked by a courageous fight against cancer, demonstrating resilience and fortitude that inspired all who knew him.

Pat dedicated many fruitful years as a dispatcher for a  transportation company, where his commitment and reliability made a lasting impact.

A true fan of the University of Michigan, Pat's love for the Wolverines was evident to all who knew him.

Among his many joys in life, Pat found solace in simple pleasures, often enjoying a cold Coors Light while sharing cherished moments with family and friends. His infectious laughter and warm presence brightened every gathering.

On August 26, 2006, Pat found his lifelong partner in Kathleen O'Neill, and their union was a testament to love, support, and unwavering companionship. Their bond was a source of strength and joy for Pat throughout his life's journey.

Pat will be deeply missed by his beloved wife Kathleen; daughter, Anna O'Neill; grandchildren, Jessa and Jayden Decker; brother, Michael McKeever; and sister, Judy (Don) Smith.  Sadly, Pat was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Bernadette, and his brother William (d. 2021).

The McKeever family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 28, 2-8 pm, with a 7 pm Rosary, at the funeral home.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 29, 10 am (in state 9:30 am), at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 23615 Power Road, Farmington.

Interment will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Park in Livonia.
