Patricia Ann Schmidt, (nee Sievert), "Pat", age 87, of Farmington Hills, passed away peacefully Saturday, August 2, 2025.

Pat was born on October 9, 1937, in Merrill, Wisconsin, the eldest of four children born to the late Ida Mae and Leslie Sievert.

Pat dedicated her life to her family and her faith. Pat will always be remembered by her love of God and loving her family deeply. She was a devoted member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church for over 60 years, where she cherished her participation in the Thursday Women's Bible Study group. Her deep love of God and family were the cornerstones of her life.

In her early years, Pat worked at Awrey Bakery during high school. She then attended beauty school, earning her cosmetology license and assisting in running her parents' beauty school in Redford. Choosing to stay home to raise her children, Pat later pursued further education to become an Accredited Records Technician (A.R.T.). She worked for many years in the medical records departments at Ardmore Psychiatric Hospital and other healthcare facilities.

Pat will be lovingly remembered by all who knew her for her unwavering faith, dedication to her family, and kind spirit.

Pat is the loving wife of 69 years to Raymond; beloved mother of Craig (Chris), Dale (Suzanne), Eric (Andrea) and the late Terri; cherished grandmother of Brad (Heather), Paige (Walter), Kali and the late Matt; dearest great grandmother of Zach, Zayne, Walt and Mia, Monroe, Mattea and Myla; fondest sister of the late Sandy, Les and Rick.

The Schmidt family will receive friends Tuesday, August 5, 2-8 pm at the funeral home.

A funeral service honoring Pat's life will be Wednesday, August 6, 11 am, visitation at church starting at 10 am until the service begins.
