Patricia J. Nowlin, 90, of Commerce Township, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at Henry Ford Hospital in West Bloomfield.

Born on July 19, 1934, in Detroit, Patricia was the cherished daughter of the late Phyllis and Clayton Nowlin. Her Irish heritage was a source of immense pride, and it shone through in the love, laughter, and friendships she nurtured throughout her life. Patricia had a generous heart, always eager to lend a helping hand, and she was known for her love of dancing and deep devotion to her family.

She shared a special bond with her father that brought her joy and strength throughout her life. An active member of her sorority, Patricia took great pleasure in organizing the annual St. Patrick's Day celebration—a tradition that reflected her enduring love for her heritage.

Family reunions in Big Rapids, Michigan, were a highlight for Patricia each year. She treasured these gatherings, where she delighted in the company of loved ones and created countless lasting memories. She especially loved taking her grandchildren to the beach at Walled Lake, where they even made up a special song that started with "Grammy, Jennifer, and Christina going to the lake." Patricia also loved going to lunch with her friends, especially at Olive Garden, Steve & Rocky's Restaurant, The Library Pub, and, of course, the Golden Corral.

Patricia is survived by her loving children, Paula Facchinetti, Linda Potts (Jeff), and John Facchinetti. She was a beloved grandmother to Jennifer and Christina and a proud great-grandmother to Jackson, Olivia, and Harrison.

Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved 16-year-old Yorkie, Kibbles, who was a constant and cherished companion.

Friends and family are invited to gather on Sunday, August 25, from 1-6 pm, with a rosary service at 4 pm, at the funeral home. A funeral Mass celebrating Patricia's life will be held on Monday, August 26, at 11:30 am, with visitation beginning at 11 am, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Parish, 23815 Power Rd, Farmington.
