Olga (Kramar) Muresan, age 96, formerly of Brighton, Michigan, passed away December 5, 2024.

Olga was born March 3, 1928, in Banatsko Novo Selo, Serbia to Ivan and Angelina (Moilov) Kramar.  She was the trailblazer in her family, the first to immigrate to the United States in 1955.

She married Peter Muresan, Jr. on November 5, 1955 in Detroit, MI. Olga and Peter were the loving parents of Nancy, Marie, and Lucille.

Olga worked for Kramar Jewelers for 35 years, was employed as a seamstress for Kay's Bridal and was Head Deaconess at Metropolitan Seventh Day Adventist Church for many years.  She had a passion for traveling, planned or spontaneous, and loved sharing that passion with her children and grandchildren.

Olga was a loving grandmother of Angelina Gorman, Bradley (Allison) Larson, Daniel (Kari) Larson, Alan Reed, Clarissa (Brandon) Roberts, Benjamin Luke Reed, Kimberly Reed; great grandmother of Hunter Gorman, Lily Reed, Grace Larson, Nathaniel Roberts, Annalycia Roberts and Alice Roberts; dear sister of Victoria Campbell; and fond sister-in-law of Betty Kramar, and Celeste Kramar.

Olga was preceded in death by her beloved daughters, Lucille and Marie, her husband, Peter, and her siblings, Laza Kramar, Marija Kramar, George Kramar and Pavle Kramar.

Olga's family will receive guests on Thursday, December 19, from 4-8 pm, at the funeral home.

Olga's funeral service is planned for Friday morning, December 20, 10:30 am, also at the funeral home.

Interment, with her daughter Marie, will take place at Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens in Novi.
