Neil, of Ann Arbor, a cherished father and grandfather, peacefully departed this life on April 10, 2024, at the age of 87. His journey was marked by dedication, service, and a deep commitment to his family.

Neil was born on September 14, 1936, in Highland Park, MI, to the late Harold and Margaret Stone.  He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Frieda, on June 28, 2010, a son, Neil, in 1988, and siblings, Betty Gunther and Nancy Doncea.

Following his military service, he embarked on a long and fulfilling career at Ford Motor Co as a power plant engineer, where his expertise and dedication left a lasting impact.

Above all else, Neil's greatest joy was found in the love and devotion he shared with his family. As a father and grandfather, he exuded kindness, wisdom, and unwavering support, leaving behind cherished memories that will be treasured for generations to come.

Surviving are his son, Mark Stone; daughter, Linda (Rich) Marinucci; cherished grandchildren, Reagan and Sam Marinucci, and John and Rachel Stone; and siblings, Douglas, Jeanne, and Shirley Stone.
