Mukrime, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, peacefully passed into eternal life early Tuesday morning, May 16, 2023.  She was 83.

Mukrime was preceded in death by her late husband, Fayez "Frank" Madany, on October 3, 2014. She is lovingly survived by her son, Dr. Jim (Stefanie) Madany, and their children, Madison, Cassidy, and Holden; her daughter, Christina (Justin) Cessante, and their children, Iyla and Stella; and her sister: Mari (Abdelnour) Gazel.

Family and friends may gather for visitation at the Basilica of Saint Mary, 18200 Merriman Road, Livonia, on Thursday evening, May 18, from 6-8 pm.  A prayer service will commence at 7:30 pm.

Mukrime's funeral ceremony is planned for Friday morning, May 19, at 11:00 am (in state 10:00 am), also at the Basilica of Saint Mary.

Interment will follow at Glen Eden Memorial Park, Livonia.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Basilica of Saint Mary .
