Mildred Mary (Walker) Nelson passed away peacefully November 23, 2025 surrounded by family.

Mildred was born in Detroit, Michigan, on May 26, 1939, the daughter of the late Robert and Mildred Walker.

Mildred married her loving husband Donald P Nelson in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida then moved to Michigan to live and raise their 2 daughters.

Mildred was the loving wife of the late Donald. Beloved mother of Susan Berberich (David), Donna Brown (Eddie); sister of Janet and brother Robert and the late Patricia and Arlene; cherished Grandmother of Ashley, Brandon (Sharon), Ryan (Heidi), Aaron, Kyle (Kaitlyn), Alyssa, Hannah, Adam, Ruben, Angel, Braylon, Justin and Jillianne. Proud great Grandmother of Skyler, Ryen, Kensley and Ryder; fondest Aunt to many nieces and nephews.

An interment will be held on a future date at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan where she will reunite with her late husband Donald. A Celebration of life will follow.
