Michael J. Masson, of Troy, beloved father and brother, passed into eternal life on Tuesday afternoon, February 21, 2023, at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak. He was 67 and in declining health for some time.

Mike was born on February 15, 1956, in Detroit, to the late Dr. Bernard and Ann (Ortisi) Masson. He was preceded in death by his beloved son, John, on February 17, 2010.  Mike enjoyed a long and prosperous career with the Suburban Collection Automotive Group as their director of competitive vehicle services.

Surviving are his beloved daughter, Ann; devoted siblings, Cyndi (Phil) Frantzis, Anna Lisa (Mike) Loiselle, and Mark (Angela) Masson; and nieces and nephews, Samuel Frantzis, Marianna (Andrew) Wechter, Jessica (Geoff) Wilson, Casey (fiancé Dan Vigi) Loiselle, Julia Masson, and Dean Masson.

Family and friends may gather for visitation on Tuesday, February 28, from 2-8 pm, (6:30 pm prayers) at the Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home, downtown Farmington.

Mike's funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday, March 1, 12 Noon, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 23615 Power Rd., Farmington.

Entombment in the Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum, Southfield, will follow mass.

Memorial tributes are suggested to CS Mott Children's Hospital or American Diabetes Association .
