Mike, of Farmington Hills, beloved husband, father, son, grandfather, brother, and friend, unexpectedly passed into eternal life at home on Wednesday afternoon, May 17, 2023.  He was 48 years old.

Mike was born February 3, 1975, at Providence Hospital, Southfield, to Karen (Prieskorn) and the late Gordon Hoskins.  He married Tina L. (Henkel) on November 5, 2019.

Mike was a very hard-working and loving family man who provided well for his family.  He was founder and owner of Skylift Crane based in Farmington Hills (est. 2016).  An outdoorsman, he was an avid deer hunter and loved fishing.  Mike was always happy to assist anyone who needed his help, and this was never for attention or recognition, he was simply known to have a servant's heart.  May he rest in peace.

Surviving are his beloved wife, Tina; cherished son, Mark Hoskins; step-children, Brianna (Frankie) Allen and Dillon (Tammie) Prieskorn; his loving mother, Karen Hoskins; adored grandchildren, Sindey and Jameson Allen, and Derrick Glass; siblings, Paula Hoskins, Tony (Jenny) Hoskins, Russell Hoskins, and Freddie (Christie) Clayton; nieces and nephews, Christian Robson, Devin Newman, A.J. Hoskins, Chasity Hoskins, Chase Hoskins, and Anthony (Alexandria) Clayton; great-niece, Scarlett; as well as a host of customers and friends.

Family and friends may gather at Heeney-Sundquist for visitation on Sunday, May 21, from 1-7 pm.

Memorial contributions are kindly suggested to Mike's family and will be used at their discretion.
