Age 69, of Northville, died at home on June 21, 2015, following a 22 month struggle with cancer. Mike is the beloved husband of 47 years to Patricia; devoted father of David (Heather); dear brother of Maureen (Dennis) Kowski and the late John (Jean); and cherished grandfather of Liam, Colin and Ellie. The Finnegans will receive guests at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 23rd, from 5-8 pm, and Wednesday, June 24th, from 2-8 pm. Prayers and remembrances are planned for Wednesday evening at 7 pm. Mike's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, June 25th, at 10:30 am (in state 10 am) at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 47650 N. Territorial Rd., (west of Beck), Plymouth. Bishop Walter A. Hurley will preside. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield, will follow mass. Memorial tributes are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
