Matthew J. Geno, 43, of Farmington Hills, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 18, 2026.

Matt was born December 2, 1982, in Wyandotte, MI, the son of Jean and James Geno.

Matt has been the loving husband of Kristina for 3 years; they met a year earlier in 2022 and knew something special was starting. He is the dearest father of Ayden, Pylot, Alayna, Huxley, Brexton, and Hunter; fondest brother of Jennifer Geno.  Sadly, Matt is preceded in death by both his maternal and paternal grandparents.

A funeral Mass for Matt will be Saturday, September 26, at 10 am, at St. James Catholic Church, 46325 10 Mile Rd, Novi, MI 48374.  Matt's family will greet friends upon their arrival beginning at 9:30 am.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Matt's family for funeral expenses and future expenses to cover education costs of his children.
