Marissa Linn
Bousquet
Jun 3, 1966 — May 12, 2026
Farmington Hills
Marissa Bousquet, age 59, passed away peacefully, surrounded by love, and is now free from pain.
Marissa was a strong, independent, and deeply caring woman who touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her. She shared 36 loving years of marriage with her devoted husband, Donn, building a life filled with laughter, adventure, love, and unwavering commitment to family.
She especially enjoyed shopping excursions with her mother, Millie, and took great joy in finding the perfect gifts for her eight nieces and nephews. Putting smiles on their faces meant everything to her and brought her immense happiness over the years.
Marissa shared an especially rare and extraordinary closeness with her mother, Millie. The two were known for their long, legendary phone calls that could last for hours as they talked about everything imaginable — family, daily life, laughter, worries, memories, future plans, and countless small moments in between. Their bond was one of deep love, friendship, and constant connection, and those conversations became treasured memories that will live on forever.
Marissa loved spontaneous weekend road trips with Donn, often setting out without knowing exactly where they were going or where they would stay. To her, the adventure and time together were what mattered most.
She also found peace and happiness having lunch or dinner outside near any lake or ocean, simply enjoying the beautiful sunshine on her face. Those quiet moments brought her true joy.
Marissa will be remembered for her caring heart, generous spirit, enormous internal strength, sense of adventure, and the love she gave so freely to others.
She is survived by her loving husband, Donn Bousquet; her parents, Jan and Millie Boring; her brother, Kyle Boring, and sister-in-law, Jill Boring; her father-in-law, Jack Bousquet, (preceded in death mother-in-law Joyce Bousquet), sister-in-law, Jodi Kaczor, and brother-in-law, Matt Kaczor; her brother-in-law, Glenn Bousquet, and sister-in-law, Beth Bousquet; along with numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family, friends, and all who loved her.
