Marilyn J. Meath, age 83, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, August 26, 2025.

Marilyn was born March 7, 1942, in Detroit, MI, the daughter of the late Isabell and William Meath.

Marilyn was known as a loyal, fierce, and loving woman, she would make any sacrifice for those she loved. She lived in many places around the world and developed a lifelong joy of cooking during her travels.

She is remembered for her warmth, dedication to family and friends, and the meals and memories she shared.

Marilyn was the loving mother of Terry Burnett (Sandy) and Tesha Kroll (David); beloved grandmother of Blake Burnett (Jaycie Hartwell) and Reede Burnett (Caitlyn) and great grandmother of triplets, Hudson, Porter and Colter Burnett; dearest sister of Tom Meath (Chris), Kevin Meath (Tina) and the late Larry Meath; adoring aunt to many.

A private funeral Mass for Marilyn will be held for her family at St. Fabian Catholic Church, 32200 W. 12 Mile Rd, Farmington Hills.

Marilyn will be laid to rest in the mausoleum at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield.
