Maria S. Bonasso, aged 82, of Salem, passed away on October 20, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

Maria dedicated 27 years of her life to the Farmington Board of Education, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of the students and colleagues she encountered throughout her career. Her nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family, as she served as a guiding aunt, cousin, and godmother to many, near and far.
Maria was a beloved figure in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was adored for her unwavering love, her warm smile, and her caring heart. Her most treasured moments were those spent with family, gathered around a table filled with laughter, stories, and love. The joy she found in her family's company was unparalleled.
Maria had a deep appreciation for the simple pleasures in life, finding immense joy in tending to her fruitful garden and savoring a good cup of coffee, with a special fondness for espresso. Her talent in the kitchen was renowned, as she was known for making the best fresh bread and embracing the tradition of cooking for the holidays.
Maria's life was a testament to the power of love, family, and the simple joys that enrich our lives.
