Margaret Mary Freeman of Farmington Hills, Michigan passed away on March 25, 2024, in Novi, Michigan, at the age of 85.

She was born on August 20, 1938, in Detroit, MI, the daughter of the late Margaret Elizabeth (Dietrich) and Charles Morgan.

Margaret dedicated her life to her family and friends. Always keeping an eye out for what someone might need be it a simple hug, a warm meal, or whatever was needed. She made every holiday a wonderful memory from Christmas and Easter to St. Patrick's and Valentine's. It was years into adulthood before her children realized not every family exchanged gifts on St. Pat's!

Margaret was a dedicated lifelong nurse whose caring nature extended beyond her profession. She selflessly cared for her late husband, Frank Freeman, using her nursing prowess to provide comfort and support throughout his life. Margaret's kindness and compassion touched the lives of many, as she always put the needs of those around her above her own.

In her free time, Margaret enjoyed delving into genealogy, a hobby that allowed her to connect with her roots and uncover the stories of her ancestors. In her younger years, she enjoyed tent camping—a passion she passed onto her kids and grandkids!

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Frank Freeman.  She is survived by her sons Daniel and Brian, her daughter-in-law Laura, granddaughter Alexia, and grandson Boden. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Frank Freeman. A loving grandma, mom, friend, and neighbor, Margaret will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A funeral service to honor Margaret's life will be April 9, 4 pm at the funeral home, where the Freeman family will receive guests beginning at 2 pm until the service begins. Margaret's legacy of love, kindness, wisdom will forever live on in the hearts of all those she touched.

A private interment will take place at Highland Cemetery in Ypsilanti, where Margaret will be laid to rest next to her husband, Frank.
