Lisa B.
Vautaw
Jun 7, 1954 — Feb 28, 2023
Lisa Beth Vautaw, age 68, passed away after a brief illness on Tuesday, February 28, 2023.
Lisa was the daughter of the late Beatrice "Bunny" and Carl Hoehner and grew up in the Farmington/Farmington Hills area. She graduated from Farmington Harrison High School and went on to receive a Bachelor's degree from Concordia University in Ann Arbor.
Lisa loved her family and especially loved hugs and kisses from her grandchildren. She was a devoted dog owner and had adopted many lovable dogs over the years. Lisa loved being near the water and very much enjoyed spending time at her home on Lake Huron in Port Sanilac. She most recently lived on Green Lake in West Bloomfield and her many family vacations to St. Augustine, FL, were very memorable.
Lisa was the loving wife of Brian for over 45 years; beloved mother of Robert Carl (Jeanne), Brooke Elizabeth Borgquist (Karl) and Michael Christopher (Bonnie); cherished grandmother of Willy, Maddie, Abby, Henry, Henrik and Mattias; and fondest sister of Christopher Hoehner (Shelley) and Jeffrey Hoehner (Yvonne).
Lisa's funeral ceremony is planned for Friday, March 3, at 3 pm, the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, 1800 W. Maple Rd, Birmingham. Family and friends may gather for visitation beginning at 1 pm.
Lisa will be laid to rest next week at Garland Brook Cemetery in Columbus, IN.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer.
Please keep the Vautaw family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
