Linda M. Bachman, 72, of Novi, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 12, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born on September 27, 1952, in Detroit, Linda was the beloved daughter of John and Katherine (Steele) Eidt. Linda worked tirelessly throughout her life, to raise and care for her family. She was the proud and selfless mother of two daughters, Michelle (Douglas) Gregory and Melissa (Anthony) Geers, who were the center of her world. She also found immense joy in her cherished role as "Grandma Grandma" to her grandchildren—Josef, Noah, Wyatt, Joshua, and Thomas—who brought light and laughter to her days.

Linda was not just a loving mother and grandmother but also a devoted sister to Sharon Crom and the late Janet Kimbro. And loving Aunt to her nieces and nephew. She will always be remembered for her strength, and her dedication to her family. Through the years, Linda showed her resilience and deep love, balancing life's challenges with grace and determination.

Now, it is her time to rest. While her absence leaves an ache in our hearts, we take comfort in knowing she is at peace, reunited with those who have gone before her.

Linda's family will receive guests on Thursday, December 19, beginning at 9 a.m., until her memorial service at 12 p.m., Heeney - Sundquist Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens in Novi at 1:30 p.m. A luncheon to celebrate her life will take place afterward at The Beach Tiki Bar and Boil in Walled Lake.

Linda's legacy of love and devotion will forever live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
