Leonard H. Meddings, age 77, of Farmington, passed away Tuesday evening, September 20, 2022, at his home with his loving family by his side.

Leonard was born in Crum, West Virginia, on November 4, 1944, the son of the late ClaraMae (Hatfield) and John Meddings.

Leonard is survived by his dear children, Leonard R. (Betty) Meddings, Delores "Cissy" (Lamar) Turner, Judy Knowles, Juanita (Alan) Ray, and Lynette (Johnny) Meddings; adored grandchildren, Dewayne, Bruce, Terry Ray, Jake, Krystal, Sally, Shana, Shelby, Jessica, Christopher, Timothy, Amy, Courtney, Amanda, and Stevie; and 26 beloved great-grandchildren.

Sadly, Leonard was preceded in death by his first wife, Jessiephene Mullins; and grandchildren, Kennith Knowles and Angel Meddings.

Visitation is planned for Friday, September 30, from 2-8 pm, at the Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home, downtown Farmington.

Leonard's funeral service will be celebrated Saturday, October 1, at 11:00 am, also at the Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home.

Memorial tributes are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association.
