Leah Dawn Najorka, age 88, of Farmington Hills, passed away peacefully at home, Sunday, October 2, 2022.

Born in Detroit, MI, on June 19, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Lucille and Elmer Porter.

Leah was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 55 years, Peter, and her brother, John.

She is the loving mother of Arleen Sommerville, Tom Najorka (Deb), Mary Rellinger (Scott), and Frances Lisee (Tim); cherished grandmother of Sherie, Timmy, Todd, Nikki, Katie, Andrew, Leah, and Justin, and great-grandmother of 7.

The Najorka family will receive guests at Heeney-Sundquist on Sunday, October 9, from 2-8 pm.  There will be a memorial service celebrating Leah's life at 7 pm.

Leah will be laid to rest on Tuesday at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI, with her husband, Peter.
