Karen J. Davis, age 77, passed away peacefully early Monday morning, May 11, 2026, at Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital.

Karen was born in St. Clair Shores, MI, January 10, 1949.

Karen's life was guided by her deep faith as a devoted Baptist; she read her Bible every day and lived her beliefs with quiet strength. She had a lifelong love of Disney—although she never visited the parks in person, she delighted in Disney films, shows, and collectibles. Karen was creative at heart: she loved to craft and draw, and these hobbies brought her calm and pleasure throughout her life.

Every year Karen and her daughter, Liz, always made a special trip to Frankenmuth, a tradition they both looked forward to and treasured. After a serious car accident left Karen with life‑altering injuries, she found new community and purpose through the Workplace Program. There she participated in many activities, formed close friendships, and made many happy memories.

Karen was a dedicated and devoted mother whose family remembers her for her love, faith, and gentle spirit.

Karen was the loving mother of Elizabeth "Liz" Davis.  She also is survived by the beloved family dog, Harper.  Sadly, she is preceded in death by her longtime boyfriend, Larry Johnson.

Her family will receive guests Monday, May 18, 2-6 pm at the funeral home, where a funeral service will be held beginning at 6 pm.
