Joyce Darnbrook, age 95, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, two weeks short of her 96th birthday.

Joyce was born May 28, 1928, in Brantford, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of Jack and Kathleen (Mitchell) Frew.  She married Tom Darnbrook in 1949, and he preceded her in death in 1992.

Joyce is survived by her sons, John (Robin) Darnbrook and Ed Darnbrook; granddaughters, Emily (Todd) Hollon and Rebecca (David) Bemis; great grandchildren, Micah and Dawson Bemis; and sister, Bonnie.  Joyce was preceded in death by her son, Paul (d. 2012), and siblings, Mac, Don, Bill, Gordon, Donna and Eleanor.

The Darnbrook family will receive guests on Sunday, May 19, from 2-8 pm, at the funeral home.

A funeral service for Joyce is planned for Monday, May 20, 10 am (visitation at 9 am) also at the funeral home.

Interment will take place at Parkview Memorial Cemetery on Monday at 1:30 pm.
