John, age 91, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2022.

He was born December 4, 1930, in Owsley, Kentucky, the son of John and Kate (Allen) Adkins.

John was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from General Motors.

Surviving are his daughter, Deborah (Leslie) Grace; grandchildren, Ashley (George) Dekle, Sean Grace and Shelby Grace; great granddaughter, Maddison Grace Michalec; and brother, Eugene Adkins.  Sadly, John was preceded in death by his son, John Vincent Adkins, and several brothers and sisters.

No services are planned and a private burial will take place at Mt. Hope Memorial Gardens in Livonia.
