Joel Agpalo, 63, of Farmington, MI, and Apopka, FL, passed into eternal life unexpectedly on November 15, 2024. Born on October 20, 1961, in the Philippines, Joel was one of six children of the late Samuel Sr. and Eugenia (Valdez) Agpalo.

Joel was known for his big heart, remarkable kindness, and boundless generosity. He always thought of others before himself and touched countless lives with his selfless spirit. A devoted and loving father, Joel brought joy and strength to his family through his humor, sociability, and steadfast commitment to doing what was right. His guiding mantra was, "Do the right thing, not the easy wrong."

Surviving Joel are his beloved wife, Divina; cherished children, Hannah and Joshua; and loving siblings, Samuel Agpalo, Jr., Cynthia Agpalo, Priscilla Arquiza, and Froilan Agpalo.  In addition to his parents, Joel was preceded in death by a brother, Walfredo Agpalo.

No public services are planned.

Joel's legacy of love, laughter, and integrity will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
