Joann Arlene Hill (née Ries), 87, passed away peacefully, Monday, December 23, 2024 .

Joann was born in Southfield, MI, February 12, 1937, the daughter of the late Elizabeth and Charles Ries. Joann was the youngest and last surviving sibling.

Joann is preceded in death by her loving husband, Earnie Hill.

Joann is the loving mother of Diana L. Hill of Brighton MI. and was a cherished aunt to many wonderful nieces & nephews.

The Hill family will receive friends Friday, January 3, 3-7 pm at the funeral home, with a rosary service at 5 pm.

A funeral Mass celebrating Joann's life will be Saturday, January 4th 11 am (in state 10:30 am), St Gerald Catholic Church, 21300 Farmington Rd, Farmington.

Immediately following Mass a funeral procession will take Joann to her final place of rest, Glen Eden Memorial Park.  After the cemetery committal service all guests are invited to lunch at Corsi Banquet Hall, 27910 7 Mile Rd, Livonia.
