Joan M. Brisbois, age 86, of Farmington, passed away peacefully, Sunday, June 12, 2022.

Joan was born in Detroit, the daughter of Bartholomew and Elizabeth Curry.

Joan is the beloved wife of the late John; loving mother of Timothy (Carla), Kathleen (Alan) Maximiuk, Michael (Lynn) and Mary; cherished grandmother of 10 and great grandmother of 6; dear sister of Irene Van Assche, Elaine Storey, Maureen Berlucchi, Patricia Massey, Thomas Curry (Dorothy) and William Curry (Ann).  Dearest sister-in-law of Janet Fraley and Patricia Zacharias.

A special thank you to all of those who have loved and cared for Joan.  Your kindness is deeply appreciated.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 1, 10 am (in state 9:30 am) at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 23615 Power Rd., Farmington.

Interment will immediately follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield.
