Jesse D. Papp, 43, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2024. He courageously battled his illness with unwavering determination until the very end. Jesse was a devoted father, son, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin, and friend.
A passionate advocate for his daughters, Jesse's greatest joy in life was ensuring their happiness and success. As a dedicated hockey enthusiast, he shared his love for the sport with his daughter Ella and was her coach, mentor, and devoted fan. He left a lasting impact on all who knew him through his athletic spirit and commitment.
Known for his quick wit and infectious laughter, Jesse had a knack for brightening any room with his trademark playful teasing and sarcasm. His selflessness extended beyond his immediate family, as he often prioritized the well-being of others, notably his mother and father, whom he loved dearly.
Jesse enjoyed cooking and the shared experience of dining out, which he treasured with loved ones. He valued family traditions and created lasting memories and bonds that will endure through generations.
Jesse D. Papp leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and compassion that will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.
Jesse was born May 4, 1981, and grew up in Canton, MI., the son of David and Marcella (Malanoski) Papp.
Jesse is survived by his daughters, Isabella "Ella" and Caprice "Reese" Papp; parents, David and Marcella Papp; brother, Jason Papp; sisters, Vanessa (David) Lesar and Laila (Lane) Lancaster; aunts and uncles, Gary and Linda Lafon, Tony Papp, and Denise (Malanoski) Gibbs; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The Papp family will receive guests on Tuesday, July 16, 2-8 pm, at the funeral home.
A funeral service is planned for Wednesday, July 17, 11 am, also at the funeral home.
Interment will immediately follow at Parkview Memorial Cemetery in Livonia.
Contributions in Jesse's memory may be made to the Papp family to support his cherished daughters, Ella and Reese. Your kindness and support during this difficult time are deeply appreciated."
