Jenny Glen Jarvis, age 60, of Farmington Hills, Michigan, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, August 10, 2026.

Jenny was born December 6, 1965, in New Liskeard, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of the late Eunice and Ronald Walker. Born and raised in the small town of New Liskeard, she and Dan formed a special bond built on generational friendship between their families and later settled in Farmington Hills, where they happily wed and raised their daughter, Mary.

An extremely intelligent and educated woman, Jenny earned an MBA from York University in Toronto.

For 24 years Jenny worked at Ageways Senior Services, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting older adults. Her caring nature and commitment to others was evident in both her work and her personal life.

Jenny's greatest love was her family. She enjoyed living an active lifestyle alongside them where she exercised regularly, cycled, ran 5k races and practiced yoga. She loved to travel; one of her most fulfilling experiences was spending a year on a ranch in Australia and exploring the Outback. About two years ago she enjoyed a memorable trip to Ireland with her sister, Wendy. Jenny and her family also kept close ties to home with yearly summer visits back to Canada.

For more than three years, Jenny battled cancer with determination and grace. She fought as hard as anyone could and remained surrounded by the love of family until the end.

Jenny is the loving wife of Dan for 26 years; beloved mother of Mary; dearest sister of Wendy Gauthier and sister-in-law of Cathy Sue Lee and Julie Jarvis; cherished aunt to Nathan, Ariel, Lara, Sarah and Erica; fondest niece of Sue Dupuy.

The Jarvis family will receive guests for visitation Sunday, August 16, 3-6 pm at the funeral home, where a funeral service will be held at 6 pm.
