Obituary

Jean, of Rochester Hills, formerly of Farmington, entered into eternal life Thursday morning, June 23, 2022, at her home.  She was 98 and under hospice care for several days.

Jean was born April 14, 1924, in Detroit, to the late Charles and Frances C. (Tossy) Binning.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 17 years, Michael Gulewich, on December 17, 1966.  Jean was a registered nurse by profession and was a proud member of the First Baptist Church of Farmington for decades.  She was a kind soul who was always willing to help others.  May she rest in peace.

Surviving are her son, David Gulewich; daughter, Debbie (Terrence) Burt; granddaughters, Jenna (Eric) Deighton and Kerrie (Eric) Boller; great-grandsons, Joshua and Cameron Deighton; and a host of fellow church members, friends, and neighbors.

A memorial ceremony honoring Jean's life is scheduled for Saturday morning, July 9, at 10:00 am, at the First Baptist Church of Farmington, 33400 Shiawassee, (at Farmington Road), Farmington.  Reverend Ben Tellinghuisen, Church Pastor, will preside.  Light refreshments will be served at church upon the conclusion of the ceremony.

Private burial is planned for a later date at Roseland Memorial Gardens in Jackson, Michigan.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the First Baptist Church of Farmington.
