Janet, of Lake Orion, a devoted mother, proud "Gigi", loving daughter, and cherished sister, passed into eternal life at home on Friday afternoon, February 17, 2023.  She was 55 years old.

Janet was born in Garden City, Michigan, on May 28, 1967.  She was injured in an automobile accident in 2005 and suffered injuries that impacted her life since then.  She was strong and made her life's focus to be the best mother and grandmother "Gigi" she could be to Maria and Charlotte.  May her beautiful soul rest in peace.

Janet was the devoted mother of Maria (Nathan Fink) Aprile; proud grandmother "Gigi" to Charlotte Fink; cherished daughter of Nancy and the late Thomas Stanek; dear sister of Norma (Tim) Miller, Katherine (Tim) Daugherty, Thom (April) Stanek, Tracy (Scott) Parker, Timothy (Paula) Stanek, the late Kristine Hedger, and the late Kenneth (Autumn) Kovach; and aunt to Melissa (Johnnie) Johnson, Timothy (Robyn) Miller, Jr., Jessica (Andrew) Meixner, James F. Wood, Crystal (Derek) Burgin, Johnathon Wood, Jason Hedger, Paige Root, and Lily Kovach; and great aunt to numerous great-nieces and nephews.

Janet's family has planned to gather privately to celebrate her life.
