James M, Zachmann, "Jim", age 52, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, January 6, 2023.

He was born in Detroit, MI, November 16, 1970, the son of the late, Sharon and John Zachmann, Sr.

Jim was a family man who loved deeply and hard. A soulful intellect who cherished making memories with friends and family that would last a lifetime. He was the life of the party, making jokes and sharing stories. He loved to read a good fantasy book, taking his john boat out to fish, playing a game of cornhole in the backyard or sharing his new favorite song. He was an amazing husband, awesome father and a phenomenal Grandpops/Beepa.

Jim was the loving husband of Sarah for 21 years; beloved father of Elizabeth Wood (Michael), Johnathon Gabrielson, Jimmy Zachmann (Melanie) and Alex Zachmann (Chelsea); cherished grandfather of Nicholas, Brooklynn and Abigail; dearest brother of Jill Lindberg (Dan) and the late John F. Zachmann, Jr.

The Zachmann family will receive friends Friday, January 13, 4-8 pm and Saturday, January 14, 10 am-12 pm at the funeral home.

A funeral service for Jim will be Saturday, January 14, 12 pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers his family suggests donations to Breast Cancer Awareness.
