Jim, of Livonia, beloved son, father, brother, uncle, and friend, passed into eternal life on Sunday afternoon, March 19, 2023, at Trinity Health Livonia Hospital.  He was 52 and in declining health for some time.

Jim was born January 24, 1971, in Detroit, to Karen (Franklin) and the late Jerrie Jarvis.  Jim suffered life-changing injuries on October 2, 2000, and received constant, loving, attentive care from his mother, Karen, for over 22 years.  He enjoyed music - all genres - but most recently, the Beach Boys, and calming, quiet piano and classical.  May his kind and loving soul rest in peace.

Surviving Jim are his children, Alyssa and Jesse Jarvis, and Justin Parsons; his mother, Karen Jarvis; siblings, Dawn (Terry) Hubert, Connie Jarvis, David (Erica) Jarvis, and Crystal (Thomas) Sawyer; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his father, Jerrie on January 24, 2022, and his brother, Jerrie (Trisha) on August 20, 2010.

Family and friends may gather for visitation at Heeney-Sundquist Funeral Home on Sunday, March 26, from 1-7 pm.  Jim's funeral ceremony is scheduled for Monday, March 27, at 12 Noon, also at Heeney-Sundquist.

Memorial tributes are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
