James J. Harvey, of Farmington Hills, passed into eternal life at his home on Monday morning, February 6, 2023.  He was 75 years old and under hospice care.

Jim was born September 25, 1947, in Detroit, to the late Jay and Virginia (Thorrez) Harvey.  He married Lynn (Pistonetti) in Las Vegas, NV, on November 20, 1990. Sadly, Lynn preceded him in death on January 17, 2018.  Jim was also preceded in death by his son, Michael, on July 2, 2018.

Surviving are his devoted sisters, Sharon (David) Wilson and LuAnn (Butch) Dettore; nieces and nephews, Jayson, Jamie and Anthony; and great nieces and nephews, Christopher, Maria, Samantha, Brendan, Jack and Luke.

Jim will be laid to rest at Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens, Novi, in a private ceremony.
